Touch up procedure:
1. mask the surrounding area
2. sand it down to bare metal/fiber glass
3. clean the area
4. spray several coats of primer per primer
manufacturer's direction
5. sand the primer with proper sandpaper (go to the
parts store, read sandpaper instructions for the right
grain)
6. spray the correct paint (parts stores have the color
guide, you can find the color code on a sticker under
the hood or more typically, inside the door seam)
7. spray some clearcoat, if your car is clearco |

现在手中没有相机，所有没法上传照片，描述一下吧：擦伤主要是几条线状的，不是大
面积的，有两条比较深，能看到
金属底色，其他的都还好，也都没有擦出坑或者凹陷。
跟朋友聊了一下，去买primer, coating paint 和 paint，打算自己弄。不过不确定用
什么型号的砂纸，有60， 120，
320 grit的，还有sanding sponge （coarse, medium, fine），这些应该怎么选择呢？
primer sealer 和 Rust Tough需要吗？还有一个更重要的we难题是，paint的颜色必须
绝对一样吗？比如说，我的车是
jet black，可是现在我只找到black, Univ Flat Black 和 Universal Black。因为我
只是几条擦伤的线装划痕，应该问题
不大吧？
操作顺序是先上primer，然后paint，然后coating paint，最后再用sandpaper打亮吗
？还是之前先用sandpaper处理
一下，包括没有露底的。

心cut 坏

Sand machine is very heavy and expensive to rent. I rented the machines from
Home Depot. It took me a few days to finish sanding just one family room.
You have to rent two kinds of sanding machines-one is for first 打磨-100
grit sandpaper, another one for 细磨-120 grit sandpaper and for the corner edge. After I got it done, my back was killing me.
Then, you need to put at least 3 coats of polyurethane on bare wood.

order) to polish it *wet*.
Then use a polisher.

油漆这种东西就不要省了，捡最贵的买，再说也省不了多少钱。

如果不sand，刷清漆没有用的。如果是漆成白色的，就不用全部sand，清洁先，补洞，
然后用sandpaper把补的洞稍稍sand一下，再清洁，干了以后，上primer,最后刷漆。

Wash the laminated floor with TSP, tri-sodium phosphate. TSP will degrease
and degloss it. Then rinse and let dry.

polyurethane or polyethylene.
I bet whoever applied the finish last time did not sand between coats.
You should not use paint. Doing so will greatly depreciate your house. |

2 用joint compound / Mud 涂板
3 用sandpaper 把mud 擦平整
4 刷primer
5 干了后，再刷primer

我碰上过，丁版有可能也碰上
就是cabinet grade表面的那场veneer非常非常的薄(不是你看到的那层），你只要去
sand，一般来说就把那层给remove了，虽然摸起来非常的smooth，最近就是没有办法
stain，只能去paint。即使paint，也有讲究
