I string my own racquets with 17 gauge ployester on main and multifilament
on cross. Polyester has very high modulus so tiny elongation translates into
large tension increase. I usually pull main at 49/50 lbs. After the cross
is installed, main tension raises to 59/60 lbs.
Anyone here string their own racquets? Welcome to share your experience on

I got the same racquet with Wilson reaction strung at 58. The reason why I
want a different racquet other than my current K6.1 95 is that K6.1 95 is
heavy and I begin to feel it at my shoulder after almost one week's hitting.
Also, I have troubles to control my racquet when I try to pronate. This
might also due to K6.1 95's weight.
After a match and some hitting today, here are my impressions:

My instructor let me try the serve motion with a badminton racquet. I was

original weight.
How do you like it? |

J***e 发帖数: 283 | 6 if you have really powerful/fast backhand swing, you should go for heavy,
head-light and stiff racquets, so you have better control from your
swing, not the racquet itself and you can hit the baller much harder w/o
sending it all out of bounds
single-handed backhand ground stroke is much more difficult to control,
if you are just playing slice defense, then the racquet does not really
matter too much, make sure you get a low-pound string, open pattern so
you can get a better bite off the ball

b*e 发帖数: 3845 | 10 It really depends on the racquet/string pattern, 1 piece or 2 piece.
For 2 piece, I have to cut it at the exact place, so time wasted on
measuring it. Also 2 piece requires 2 additional knots, which takes extra
time.
Some racquet have tough blocked holes to handle, which takes time. The
easiest racquet to string is POG, which is only 14X18 pattern. |

接高球或non pace的高球:关键是要Raise hand/elbow/racquet head, 然后要drop

With your excellent form of core rotation and swing, you can generate your
