an NCAA investigation, The Columbus Dispatch is reporting that the NCAA and
Ohio State are looking into whether star quarterback Terrelle Pryor received
cars and other extra benefits.

he would bypass his senior season at Ohio State, made thousands of dollars
autographing memorabilia in 2009-10, a former friend who says he witnessed
the transactions has told "Outside the Lines."
The signings for cash, which would be a violation of NCAA rules, occurred a
minimum of 35 to 40 times, netting Pryor anywhere from $20,000 to $40,000

Buckeyes quarterback told the NCAA in May about additional violations he
committed while at the school.
An Ohio State spokesman told ESPN on Wednesday that Pryor did not tell the
school or the NCAA about any additional violations. That contradicts what
Pryor's attorney David Cornwell told ESPN on Tuesday.

shifted to the investigation of star quarterback Terrelle Pryor and his
succession of used cars.
The salesman who put Pryor behind the wheel of several expensive vehicles
said in a sworn affidavit released by Ohio State on Tuesday that he didn't
offer any special deals to Buckeyes.

A day after coach Jim Tressel's forced resignation for lying about Ohio
State players receiving improper benefits, the focus has shifted to the
investigation of star quarterback Terrelle Pryor and his succession of used
cars.
Now, NBC4 has learned that Pryor's driver's license was suspended less than
two weeks ago, and he is still driving.
According to a report released by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Pryor
is driving on a suspended license.

infraction cases.
The greedy player and/or player’s family member; the bumbling assistant
coach or the rogue agent and/or booster. Those are the folks who get labeled
, fired, kicked out of school. It’s almost never the head coach, athletic
director or anyone else in power. The bosses deftly maintain plausible
deniability while shifting the blame to an easier target.

two weeks with a suspended license.

rights to former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor and have spoken to
Pryor about bringing him to the Canadian Football League.

Ohio State was recently cited by NCAA enforcment officials for dozens of
payments Pryor received in past years from a Columbus sports memorabilia
dealer that are considered outside of NCAA rules.
