Everytime I had a really good run, a really bad run always follow. And I
lost most of the profit back. That bothers me a lot
I had a good month in March, test water in NL200, and quickly win $1.4k, but
for the last couple days I am down like $800. Set can't hold, coin flop
against short stack always lost and a couple short stacker got lucky hitting
gut shot and 2nd pair like crazy. So I moved back to NL100. Good experience

against "think too much" in small/micro stake poker. And that is this hand

about 13 most scary leaks in small stake, one of them was "try to use level
5 thinking on level 3 playing field" (can't remember exact word, but sth

pair on hole(or paired 88). After check on turn, lead out on river. If villian bluff and you beat is big Ax. I bet the poss. is not big since villian is OOP.
The first one is at board line to me. Either you are deeply beaten. Or you still
beat a few Ax. More likely, being beaten.
I play Rush NL100 today a little. Run really dry. The only hand(before the last one) I got is AJo. Raise at UTG+1 and fold to 3X from BTN.

matters since I can't play rush anymore. But I think you need to get the
facts straight. I played 210k hand this year which averaged 60 hour per month (2 hours per day which is more than what I averaged last year). If i were to play 100 hours per month, I would have even better hourly rate because I could get second tier black card. Put this into context and you can work out the real number yourself. not hard to reach 100k/yr playing NL100 rush even. only minimum win rate
needed. all you really need is to make 3k ftp points per day, which is not hard at all playing full time. Of course it is not important anymore since ftp is gone. But I think i can totally do it 100k/yr playing full time back then. But it never crosses my mind that i would quit my job. 300k or 400k /year. maybe i will
start considering.

last 5 month of NL100. You can argue that this is not big enough sample size
. But I want to point it out that the majority of earning (60-70%) come from
fixed income (rake back and ftp point purchased cash bonuses). This largely
reduces the variance. To make 100k/per year, minimum winrate is needed
around 2bb/100 hand is even enough. I don't care who is the best player

have evidence I can or can not. That is why I never even thought about
turning pro.
on the other hand, making 100k/y is not too difficult playing just NL100 rush. I
know I could have done it. Because the level is so low and most of earning
come from bonus and ftp points, the variance is also RELATIVELY small.

really not that difficult. Remember FCF said that you just need a brain that
can make you graduate from high school to beat NL200? lol. I tend to agree
with that as long as you really want to get better and learn.

table, I started a new play. Have to be deep to play like this.
In one table I raise with EVERY single hand, yes, every, say 47o UTG+1 and
fire 3 barrels to river unless I see resistance. Whenever people see my
showdown, I mark it. On other 3 tables, I play TAG.
It's very effective and I think lots of regs got confused and I ended win
way more on each table...
