发帖数: 20 | 9 之前在Orbitz订了TURKISH AIRLINE从JFK飞NAIROBI的机票，中转istanbul，一行6个人。
一个月后，给改成飞到坦桑尼亚首都Dar(航班号不变)，我们当时以为改航线了。打电
话给orbitz，说如果要转到别的飞nairobi的航班的话，只有一个位子，所以我们就认
了。
又过了几个星期，把从伊斯坦布尔飞Dar时间往后推了一天，orbitz客服说没有更早的
航班了。
更搞笑的是，我们有6个人，居然有一个人，航班从来没变化过，同样的航班号，还是
飞Nairobi，ORBITZ和土航客服都搞不清楚怎么回事。
还有一个今天又被改回Nairobi，还是原来的时间，只不过换了航班号。
这么混乱的情况我还是第一次遇到，到底该怎么解决呢！ |

在尽量减少价格，时间，layover, stop-over的前提下：
主要看的机场有Boston, JFK/EWR(NYC)
1） 设置一个kayak.com的price alert, (daily)，有时候一天之内价格会骤降$200，
就得毫不犹豫立刻下手。
https://www.kayak.com/alerts
2) 节约时间最cost-effective的选择：Delta/KLM，非常推荐在AMS转机，很方便，不
需要transit visa。
一般是从Boston/NYC傍晚出发（上班的筒子们还不用多请一天假），第二天一早到
Amsterdan。
只需要one-stop，第二站终点就是东非各个机场。
建议在KLM网站上买票，同样的路线价格比delta网站上的居然便宜很多。而且界面比较
user-friendly，可以很方便查看multi-city，可以试之前之后的几天。
同样日期同样路线的KLM机票价格浮动很大，有$1600的时候，有$1150的时候，当时就

工作一定要认认真真踏踏实实一丝不苟，生活就应该马马虎虎大大咧咧，不洗澡不换衣
服脏脏的生活好几天我都没问题，但是一旦要人模狗样的出去工作那就要干干净净了！
写游记也要虎头蛇尾一点，不然太浪费时间了，旅行是用来享受过程的，写出来总是显
得太枯燥，不过还是需要随便唧唧歪歪记记一下，不然太对不起自己的旅行了，不过用
嘴巴说更快更直接，太多有趣的事情写出来就显得啰嗦无趣了！
飞机起飞前2天被逼无奈，把Etihad的机票硬生生从Abu Dhabi飞Athens改成Abu Dhabi
飞Seychelles，然后手忙脚乱google和baidu一切非洲可以落地签证or免签证的国家，
最终定下了肯尼亚这条线路，在和肯尼亚当地tour operators沟通中，突然发现我对非
洲印象最深刻的“乞力马扎罗山”居然就在肯尼亚和坦桑尼亚的边境不远处，那怎么可
以不去坦桑尼亚，所以在Seychelles的时候把最终的非洲大陆线路定了下来！

west to north east. In the Parklands area of Nairobi, demand is high and
property is being snapped up by moneyed Asian investors. Because of security
concerns and the recent breakdowns in the provision of the basic utilities,
there is increased demand for accommodations within secure compounds with
their own water supply and back-up generator.

发帖数: 189 | 21 从肯尼亚回来，感觉上了一个凳次，但实在不能归功于“高原训练”，因为坦率地讲，
我确实没“训练”。
几乎是逃回德国的，本来计划呆两个月，结果10天就打道回府了，没水（活了27年，第
一次打井水竟然是在肯尼亚）、电压不稳、网络毫不夸张地说一分钟断10次（不过切实
感受到了华为的辐射能力）……这些生活上的细节还都是其次，最要命的是我在高原根
本没办法跑，正常情况下每mile慢10秒，我适应了差不多5、6天，基本照着1分钟慢，
而且我住在Iten，海拔2400，跑longrun的话只认识一条main road from Iten to
Eldoret，Eldoret海拔1900，out还凑合，back的时候也差不多没力气了，也该爬坡了
，后来实在没戏下决心走人。这次行程确实比较2，长这么大从来没上过高原，贸然把
自己扔到海拔2400，而且说实话，肯尼亚物价真的不便宜……其实在云南楚雄有朋友的
，那边海拔1800到1900，以前学校的教练这段时间也带队员在那边，但因为今年回中国
机票比较贵，加上自己一直以来想去Iten朝圣，所以有了这次Kenya之行。

了一个精神的黑小伙，说着流利的英语欢迎我，还给了我一个热情的拥抱。
我们这个NGO所有的volunteers都是每个月的一号或十五号开始，因为必须得要先上一
个两天的orientation，教我们一些简单词汇（Swahili），生活习俗，注意事项，带我
们去买电话卡必须品什么的。虽然肯雅的官方语言是英语，学一些简单的当地语言还是
有必要的。
