came from the old writer. Now I am worried about what if ERAS would not use
these new letters? And in myERAS, I designated a couple LOR for some errors,
and I would assign these New LOR to the program. Would ERAS transmit these
New LOR for me? because they are written by the old writer, just waive.
Should I send email to ERAS saying I want to use LOR with #4 ,5 and 6?

However, when I tried to generated the DSF forms for the LOR #2 and #3, the
numer on the DSF LOR# is still "1". (The DSF form for the LOR #1 was
generatred last week and has been sent out already) Shouldn't it be LOR 2
and 3? How should I fix this.thanks! |

LoR to all specialties but only put one specialty in the LoR. But I can not
edit it anymore. The instruction said i need to create a new slot in place
old one and let dean's office know that. But I can not delete the reserved
slot, how can I create a new one and in place incorrect one and let them
know? Also, I found when we apply for programs, we can assign the LoR to
programs, does it mean it is ok that I assign the LoR |

ECFMG OASIS, it seems this is not a complex system and it is not hard to
follow the instructions. Please share your experience here.

今天第一封LOR被upload了。
总结的小体会就是：
1.同一个attending可以写多封LOR的，在ERAS和cover letter里要指定specialty就好
了。为了保险起见，同一个attending的不同信件我让他们分别寄出。给他们提供了
prepaid的fedex信封。
2.一定要提醒letter writer随信要附上cover letter和DSF，我幸亏打电话提醒了，写
信的attending根本就没注意，没有把这两个文件放进去。打电话以后又拆开信封，重
新放进去的。
3.签字一定要非黑色的笔。
4.我的LOR在收到10天就upload了，比传说中的3－4周短，可能是现在还不是高峰期吧。
暂时先想到这么多。

医院里好多中国乡亲们啊~太开心了~~连食堂刷卡的大妈都是中国人我太开心了~~`
查房一定要跟上，手脚要快，进出病房都要cal-stat（用消毒掖洗手）！对于有MRSA/
VRE的病人进入病房接触病人要穿一次性隔离的gown！随身携带tongue blade,Xeroform
for flap pts, kurlix,suture kit,flashlight...上手术上门诊不管是谁，be nice
and be helpful!to everyone! They talk about you !!!而且麻醉师和护士也能教
很多东西！不一定和ENT有关，但是在台上会easy很多!或者在RN走神的时候/主刀没开
口的时候就能把器械递过去了。。。（站台真的好累。。。我还是老瞌睡。。。就不停

When I fill in DSF, I add one letter writer information, then click "Add LOR
", then I add another writer information and click "Add LOR". Finally when I
click "printed out the form", it is one DSF with four writers' information
on it. Is it OK?
Can I just fill in one writer's information then print? By doing this, I can
get four DSF with only one writer on each form. |

可以肯定的是比较generic,还有一个从见习的IM来,因为只是private care,不敢期望会
很strong,另外从最近开始在见习病理,可是才刚刚开始,而且是不定期的,不知道知道能
不能有LOR,而且一定比较晚可能,如果申请病理呢应该有帮助,可是如果申请IM呢?还有
一份LOR想从PH.D的老板那里要,她是病理医生,但是呢,我们关系一般,我该怎么提这件
事呢,是让她写针对病理的呢,还是比较泛泛的呢?
另外,在填CAF时候,我的这些见习内科和病理的经历都写进去了,会不会让人觉得不好呢.

generic. You may tell your boss about your career plan and ask her "Do you
feel comfortable to write a recommendation letter for me?" Based on her
reaction you will have a pretty good idea about how strong the LOR will be.
From there you may decide the usage of the LOR.

知道放哪里，我一Reserve Slots后就立刻显示出来了？Downloaded by Designated
Dean's Office的日期显示的是今天11：30AM。
问题是我8月6日又邮了一封LoR，在OASIS 的Verify Receipt of ERAS®
Documents里还没有显示出来呢。怎么ADTS里就看到了？是不是说其实还没被扫描，只
要你Reserve Slots后就在ADTS里显示？

1. Register an account by providing credit card info in www.fedex.com.
2. Save the address of ECFMG-ERAS (by courier service) as a receiver
3. Save the addresses of LOR writers in the account as senders.
4. Print the shipping labels online (can be done at home)
5. Insert the label into Fedex envelope (which can be obtained free from
local Fedex store).
6. Give the prepaid Fedex envelope with the shipping label to the LOR writer
