1696MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory， 一个是 Graphics Memory
None Available。 是不是 Graphics Memory None Available不太好啊？只就这一配

非CS的本科和phd但阴差阳错混成了码农，但又不是那种正统generalist码农，而是
graphics方向的。目前phd毕业没多久在一家业内的大公司搞opengl等等相关的东西。
主要是在driver上层但没到app层。时不时做些demo，时不时优化一下系统，时不时也
debug一下操作系统什么的。
老板人很好，经常问我对自己的长期发展有什么看法，喜欢做什么。。。但我居然每次
都没什么可说的。。。感觉不能再这么混下去了，但又不知道往哪个方向发展。。。往
mitbbs job版上一看，几乎全都是搞internet的。而且还变得那么快，前几年火的
hadoop什么的我还知道是啥，如今的这些个技术什么mangodb什么的，根本就不知道在
讲啥。
不知道版上达人们觉得我这样背景的应该继续深挖graphics driver还有os呢，还是利

如果是机器猫，柯楠，少女漫画，少男漫画那类的话，他们绝对不一样。
你会发现graphic novel风格多样化的可怕。
日本漫画总给我似曾相识之感，不管是人物造型还是故事还是
中间那些搞笑的小桥段。而graphic novel，每一本
都能带给我不一样的视觉冲击。
还有一个区别就是主题，我看过大约八九部graphic novel了，无一例外
他们的主题都是严肃的：战争，家庭，亲情，种族歧视……
这些小说里已经用滥了的主题，用漫画这种新的手法演绎出来却
显得那么新鲜。
传统的漫画有一个很大的局限性就是人物的stereotype，Will Eisner
（他是最先创作graphic novel的）说，因为篇幅的关系，漫画作家必须
一下子就让读者确定这个漫画人物是什么类型的。比如人物的正邪，人物的
职业身份等等，几乎都有通用的icon了。这些icon甚至包括日常的一些小物品，
比如一把现代普通的钥匙就代表good key，而一个大圈上拴着几把古代样式
的钥匙就代表bad key等等。说到这里我想起在图书馆看到的一本写女巫故事的

谈一谈几个熟悉的会议，请大家补充。Computer Graphics 中最鼎鼎大名的就是SIGGRA
PH了。其会议全称是：International Conference on Computer Graphics and Intera
ctive Techniques. SIGGRAPH是ACM SIG之一。SIGGRAPH是一个盛会式的会议。除了Pap
er,还有很大规模的展览。98年 SIGGRAPH的与会者人数达到了创纪录的 48700。现在维
持在30000上下。SIGGRAPH paper的接受率大约接近20%. 而实际上递交到SIGRRAPH的文
章质量都很高，其录取难度要比接受率接近的其他会议高得多。
其他Computer Graphics 的会议和SIGGRAPH就至少差了一个档次。SIGGRAPH下来是 Eur
ographics. 虽然是欧洲的会议，但也是面向世界。接受率现在也有差不多20%.但是每次

我最近刚入了NUC5i7RYH，主要是家用，用LR修修图。感觉各方面都还不错，唯一的缺
点就是偶尔风扇的转速高达6000rpm，噪音很大。现在考虑要不要换成NUC5i5RYH。后者
不仅便宜100刀，关键是不会有很大的噪音。不知NUC5i5RYH的HD Graphics 6000可不可
以胜任LR的修图工作。另外，我肯定要配SSD和16G的内存。 |

脑应用于数学物理，与cs专业本身关系不大。据说马工的三个最浪漫的业余爱好就有它
（操作系统，编译原理，和图形学）。
经过调查，发现做computer graphics的只有这样一些公司
1，芯片蚀刻公司，如英特尔，需要几何图形（可能为了布线？）。硬件公司，夕阳产
业。
2， cad公司。不是夕阳产业但是利润低。
3， 游戏公司。超级不稳定。
4，电影公司。招人很少。
5，石油公司，地质岩层成像。但是油价下跌，光景不好。
6，医疗公司。医学成像，但是往往跟bio相关，据说只要跟这三个字母搭上边，就油水
少。
还有那些公司需要做computer graphics? |

graphics的人会认为VR/AR只需要vision不需要graphics？
再说lz既然说喜欢数学和几何，那么vision应该也喜欢才对啊。vision兼具现在最火的
AI和VR/AR，应该更是前途无量啊。 |

发帖数: 22 | 42 VR/AR中用到的图形学与游戏没什么两样，区别无非是虚拟camera的控制方式。而游戏
的图形学重点不是引擎，因为成熟的引擎多的是，免费的一大把，重点是内容，那是艺
术家主导的。工程上图形学目前能做的主要是速度方面，算法上就是尽量逼真，不过逼
真性也大多成熟了，就是实时性做不到而已，所以归根结底还是速度

NVIDIA Quadro NVS3100M (Switchable Graphics)，可是今天拿到货开机查看device的
时候只看到显示有Intel graphics card,没有找到NVIDIA的阿，请问大侠们怎么查找是

As noted by The Next Web, Apple late yesterday approved an update to the Mac
app FolderWatch [Mac App Store] that lists "Retina graphics" as one of the
