和BUCKEYES周旋到最后一秒钟的精神准备，就准备失败吧，
即使可能公认你的实力要更强一些，即使你以往的战绩可能
更好一些。比赛场上仅仅靠实力本身是不够的。BUCKEYES绝
不是西门吹雪，给对手一剑封喉时依然白衣飘飘犹如闲庭信步；
BUCKEYES更象冷血，象一只孤独的饿狼，耐心地等待着对手
可能露出的每一个稍纵即逝的破绽进行攻击，一刀，两刀，
也许每一刀都不致命，甚至不让你觉得疼痛，但也许正当你
得意洋洋地看着这个对手已经满身伤痕时，自己却不知不觉地
因为失血过多而轰然倒下。。。
去年即使在拿到NC后还有人不断嘲笑BUCKEYES几乎每场获胜的
比赛都不超过对手七分，但正是这样的结果令我对BUCKEYES
肃然起敬：你能想象类似的结果出现在一只貌似强大但却没有
BUCKEYES一样钢铁般的意志和神经的队伍上么？ 不错，“宜将
胜勇追穷寇”是让人赏心悦目的，仿佛今天OU对TAM的77:0，
但超越自我反败为胜绝地反击难道不是更接近体育竞技的真谛么？

发帖数: 283 | 2 老实得说，这次输球带给我的只是微微的心理波动，等级也就是和我们2004年主场输给
Wisc差不多，虽然我们距离NC只有两步之遥。昨天的输球只能说明我们是一支good
team, 还没有达到Holy Buckeyes得水平。。 Defense 没有那么solid，offense也没有
想象中的sharp。不过，我们需要承认在rebuilding year，取得这个成绩已经超乎我们
球迷的想象了。明年，我们一定会有一支better team coming back。
再看看版上，八黑们蓬勃发展的欣欣向荣的景象，真是欣慰呀。我们不能强迫大家和我
们一起Fan buckeyes，也不能阻止别人妒嫉和怨恨我们OSU，但是我们的输球掀起了北

PURDUE典型VET DEF TEAM.
OSU没有MAURICE, 进攻就不用多说.赛前,媒体又是那些OSU NO CHANCE .BLAH BLAH...
打起来, 确实艰苦.双方都极其TOUGH.可以说比赛又很BORING,不停的PUNT来PUNT去
一直到最后一个QUARTER还剩一分39秒. ABC上显示的仍然是
OSU 3 , PURDUE 6 LOSING
连带我入门的老兄弟都说, 行, 这下全国冠军的梦也就醒了.
HOLY BUCKEYE
OSU 进攻到PURDUE 39 YARD,3次进攻拿到9YARD. 4TH &1, 于是开始抉择.选择4TH DOWN
如果4TH DOWN 失败, 就没有什么其他的结果了.
不过我们又没有MAURICE ,1 码 , 也就一步, 却如此的遥远.

06我的预测是NC + TS heisman，结果只对了一半。
07我的预测是9 or 10win，结果常规赛季只输了1场还去了冠军赛。
不管队伍实力如何强，一个漫长的赛季里，任何事情都可能发生。
目前的buckeyes，除了伤病以外，别的隐患不是很大。
但是一两个关键球员的伤病就可能影响整个赛季，缺了Dorsey，LSU
输了两场比赛。缺了首发QB Booty，USC在家里都能输给Stanford。
而伤病是几乎无法预测的。
好在目前的buckeyes在大多数位置上的depth都不错，因此小的伤病可能
不会带来灾难性影响。
我的预测：11-1
我认为我们能赢USC（Trojan扇子们别急，你们今年还是有些问题，需要时间恢复，
明年估计你们肯定要赢了。一家一场，别抢。）但是b-10里有可能输一场。

虽然比较伪
俺理解的“伪扇子”，就是球票多用来卖钱，发文都是灌水
为此俺曾被um某扇子痛斥
这也怨不得俺
当初曾痛下决心摘掉“伪扇子”的帽子
被某位真扇子说：“别摘了，挺可爱”
俺一想，算了，这被广大wsn占领的ncaa，还是夹着尾巴做人比较好
于是乎，
顶着“伪扇子”帽子的俺，得以肆意挖坑灌水，逍遥自在
扯远了，拉回来
buckeye扇子的这个赛季，可谓跌宕起伏
说“跌宕起伏”，似乎太给自己面子
连着输了3年的碗赛，早已被人骂成狗屎，还有啥“起伏”
可是，回想这个赛季初
俺们对pryor的passing 还是抱有一丝幻想
spring game冉冉升起了washington, carter等小星星
oline, secondary看起来都还强大
让人不禁浮想联翩
然后，情况就急转直下
先是被navy给了个下马威
接着，被当时大家仍然看好的宇宙一队在主场羞辱
buckeyes再次晚节不保
TA去了，回头继续（如果有人看的话） |

着实逮着俩弱队泻了泻火
JT看来是恼羞成怒了

Dayton，还有就是这个。BerettaFan兄嘱咐我review一下。我就回忆回忆，然后比较一
下我有点印象的东西。
这个Buckeye 枪展应该是三个里面最小的，Westland Mall的枪展最大。网上讲
Westland Mall的枪展有400张8Ft的桌子，今天这个有175张。我感觉也差不多，至少小
一半。据说(wikipedia)最大的枪展有两千张桌子。不知道是不是VA的那个。以前在精
华区里考古的时候见过几张加州小枪展的照片，里面枪不多，看起来让人有些失望。这
三个枪展至少比那些都强不少。
这个Buckeye 枪展的地点在一个操场的旁边。两个简易仓库状的大房子里面。两个房子
中间隔着十几米的空地。三五成群的人站这，有些人手里有家伙，噼里啪啦的枪栓声不
绝于耳。不远处还有不少小孩在玩球。这个外部环境比前两个枪展强多了。那两个地方
都很荒凉，以至于多少有点阴森。Westland Mall 本身已经被事实上废弃，一大片建筑

相比之下，偶的boilermakers似乎总是有些虎头蛇尾
尤其是去年，今年克服了这情况，大为改观，但是还是需要进步
赛季第一场对BDSU最后一分半还是领先6分
我对boilers老是领先在一个TD之内感到担心
结果别人一个长传TD:-(
第二场客场wake forest,最后两分钟领先6分
又是6 分，结果来了个fumble,我心那个悬
因为如果这常也输了，整个赛季都会完蛋
还好接下来对Arizona,Illinois,ND都不费太大力气
然后就是Wisconsin badgers, 客场
时当badgers气势正旺，作掉buckeyes之后
还有大概2分半领先一个TD，，还好这次是7分，不然结果也许不一样

幸亏只是平局没有太大压力，最后FD赢

发帖数: 1476 | 35 一半输在实力，一半输在队员缺乏历练，心理不够成熟。02年夺冠那只队伍是一路摸爬
滚打过来的，什么都见过，所以基本看不到因为心理因素导致的低级错误，最后险胜夺
冠。
这两年的Buckeye team 总体说来常规赛都太顺了，队员缺乏个越挫越奋的劲头。打得
顺了还能正常发挥一下，比赛不利的时候就越来越掉链子。反观SEC的队，因为普遍实
力比较强，场场都是硬仗，最后能杀出重围的都是经验丰富的老兵。
另外今天运气也的确不在Buckeye这边，上半场那个blocked FG是全场比赛的转折点。
而2nd half那个roughing kicker, god knows how it happened. 后面紧接着一个
personal foul和三个队员同时misstackle明显就是队员心理不行的表现。
今天教练的指挥也有问题，不知道为什么从头到尾running用得很少。到后来想用了，
时间又不够了，只能硬着头皮接着pass. JT也真是有些老了，记得他刚来OSU那几年总
是一副处变不惊的样子，现在教练干久了，反而感情越来越丰富。虽然未必是件坏事，
不过我还是喜欢他早几年的风格。什么教练带什么 |

Buckeyes return 20 starters, so experience wise looking good.
Talent方面，recruiting比起USC还差一些，好在JT培养球员方面还不错，
比如我们的四个team captains: JL, Todd Boeckman, Brian Robiskie和Malcolm
Jenkins都是3*或以下。Robo只是2*。
说起talent，经常有人忽视新生，其实新生很重要，比如06年的gators。
buckeyes今年的recruiting很不错，几乎个个位置都有高水平的recruit
（后面我会详细讲），所以这方面也不差。
Coaching在大的方面问题不大，JT has great leadership and the team has

发帖数: 2155 | 37 DL: 3 out of 4 starters return。走的是All-time sack leader Vernon Gholston
(#6 to Jets)。顶上来的是去年因伤缺阵的Lawrence Wilson。事实上，LW的评价一直
很高。很多人认为他实力在Vernon之上，去年第一场受伤之前他也是拿到了buckeyes
整个赛季的第一个sack和TFL。今年的最大问题就是看他会不会受伤。在我看来，
就算不受伤，他也不可能达到Vernon去年的表现，但是应该不会有太大的dropoff。
DL最大的问题是DT，去年整个DT全年才拿了3个sack，急需改进。
目前有消息说two deep的DTs都表现不错，但是还要在赛场上看。
毫不夸张地说，DT的表现将决定今年buckeyes的成绩。不过不需要DT由去年LSU的
DTs那种表现，只要不要成为防守的软肋就行了。

上半场Buckeye D防守得非常好，blitz得Mccoy没脾气，也基本shutdown了
UT的run play. 虽然也有UT攻到前场的时候，但Buckeye的D都是bend but
not break, red zone没有给UT什么好的机会。进攻方面非常可圈可点的不多，
但也算solid. Beanie有几个不错的run，倒是TP让人很糊涂，偶尔的几个
pass多数不成功，两三个不错的scrambling却都莫名其妙地提前主动出界，其中
第一次这样情况出现的后果就是最后差两码没拿到first down，好像后来只能
punt了。上半场OSU最大的问题就是犯规，最costly的就是那个底线五码3rd down
and 2的时候Browning（？）false start，丢了一个拿TD的绝好机会。除此以外，
上半场局面其实OSU略占优，55：45开吧，控制了比赛节奏，有点当年Tressel
ball的味道。
下半场开始依然不错，UT吃力推进，Mccoy好像还没有从上半场恢复过来，多个
简单的pass没 |
