在准备EB1A之前，心里一点底都没有。找了版上好几个“著名的律师”们评估。发现了
“好律师们”好的原因：他们接手的全是十拿九稳的case，对于没有把握的case，他们
不接。换言之，感觉这种律师的作用仅仅是个中介。对于背景很强，但没有时间的同学
们来说，是个不错的选择。但会面临被RFE的危险，因为最了解自己research的，只有
自己。举个例子，虽然biophysics和biochemistry都在life science的范畴，但学
biophysics的同学可能要花很多时间才能给学biochemistry的同学解释清自己的
research是什么。所以更何况那些律师呢。第一：他们愿意花那么多时间了解我的
research吗？第二：他们有那么多客户，会有那么多时间在我身上吗？第三：虽然我很
了解我的research，尚且还要花很多时间打理清楚什么才是闪光点呢，交给别人还是不
放心。自己也被有理工科背景的律师评估过，感觉不是很靠谱。也看到版上很多人请律
师，花了钱，还被律师牵着鼻子走，生气，而且律师还常常出错。所以，下决心DIY。

we do not feel bad about it because for most of people in the world
Christian theology is neither relevant nor helpful in their lives. Among
these people, a substantial fraction comes from practicing Christians: do

己主办的杂志）。
Cell Press的杂志和Nature一样，也有2种，一种“嫡系”（自己主办）的，就像
Nature里面nc，nn，nm，ni，ncb，nsmb等等这种。另一种是“旁系”（代理出版）
的，比如Nature里面的中国人搞的aps，cell research等等。
Nature系列好判断，只要某杂志前面带Nature，人人都知道，这是Nature的主力“中央
军”（Nature自己主办），是Nature真正的子刊。
Cell里面“中央军”（cell自己办的杂志，可以说是Cell真正的子刊）按首刊时间顺序
有Cell，Neuron，Immunity，Molecular Cell，Developmental Cell，Cancer Cell，
Cell Metabolism，Cell Host & Microbe，Cell Stem Cell ，以及最新的Cell
Reports。
其他几种杂志，有些是Elsevier搞过来委托cell出版社出版的，

我好现在去按照他们的format整理图片啊什么的。然后他说，
"Biophysical J.......or PNAS"
尼玛这两个档次相差忒远了吧。我老真是一口鲜血吐出来，他是真傻还是在忽悠我？
是这样的，我一直去催我老板看我的paper。他今天告诉我，他现在在看一个前几年从
我们实验室phd毕业的一个人的文章，说东西还是他当时在实验室时做的，现在终于能
整理发表了。说我的paper是“second on the list"。 他做事老是拖拖拖，我怀疑他
是不是觉得我的东西写得完全垃圾，但又不跟我明说，所以就一直能蒙就蒙。所以今天
才说出这样的话来，其实他根本没准备投我的文章把。我烤。。。
一个认真看你文章，然后认真考虑要投出去的老板，会说他准备投"JCB, PNAS,
Physics Review Lett., Biophysical J, PLOS (the original one), Nature
Communications"这样不靠谱的话吗？一听就是根本没上心的。

发帖数: 177 | 47 拿到了烂数据整出了好结果，辅以漂亮的biophysics实验validate结构。
1. 技术上用fusion protein来解决不能形成复合物，用mutation来得到active GPCR
conformation， 用3A arrestin promote binding形成稳定complex。同时又比对亲和
力保证这个complex和wild type相比不是那么artificial。这给今后做Rho以外的GPCR-
arrsetin complex提供了强有力的技术支持。
2. Biophysics experiment都很漂亮的证明了结构的正确性。
3. 能把这个结构解了的人绝对是高手。膜拜。
中科院终于有单位在结构领域可以跟清华刚正面了。赞一个。 |

我以前遇到的一个例子，另外一个系的一个AP投了篇JBC，结果两个审稿人要他补两三
个biophysics的实验验证一些东西，而且态度很坚决。那个实验室不做biophysics，本
身没经验，于是找到我们实验室一个phd，做三个实验只花了他一周，不过他要求共同
一作而且把名字放第一个，那个AP急着发文章也就接受了。 |
