当然aurora的缺点是没有什么中国人，这也是我们一直concern的地方，毕竟要给孩子
找适龄的close playdate估计会比较困难一些。但是aurora的房子性价比实在是比
hudson好太多了，并且aurora商店也多一些，购物更方便。所以这真的是比较难以选择
的问题。
aurora的商店多？你是说outlet？
solon、hudson到aurora都不超过10分钟。另外，房子不管是自住还是投资，第一是位
置，第二是位置，第三还是位置。
twinsburg，aurora都有足够的空间盖新房，所以，房产不可能增值。看看这段时间
solon的房产热度即可理解。
当然，住aurora，再上私校是另外的选择。 |

hudson差多少。我自己也差了一下，小学都是9分，中学和高中都是10分，平均分93分
，这不算好学区吗？为啥要上私校呢？其实aurora就是中国人少一些，不是那么有名，
所以大家讨论得少一些而已。但是我要客观地说一下就是，aurora居住人口还是以中产
为主的，应该不是农业区。学区也不错。治安也很好。基本上看不到黑人和老莫，白人
居多。除了中国人少这一点，真的还找不出来其他什么缺点。
hudson主街很漂亮，建筑很美很小资，生活确实会不错，但是生活确实不那么方便。没
看见一家grocery店，aurora店也不算多，但是至少有个小outlet，还有target和几家
grocery店。出门就可以逛街买东西，我觉得比较方便。
twinsburg无法跟aurora比，高中和初中只有8分，平均分89。还是差了一个档次的。要
说热闹的地方，kent,stow,streetboro都比aurora和hudson要热闹，商店也多，人也更
多，但是学区和治安，实在是比较差。

了一趟。我发在这里给更多情况类似的朋友一些帮助吧。
我们最后决定租房子在aurora一年，如果喜欢有可能在这里买房，或者是选择hudson。
你说的aurora是传统农业区我不这么认为，虽然人口比hudson少一些，居民更分散一些
。但是有很多kent的教授都住在这个城市的。据我所知，我老公系里的俄国教授基本上
都在这里定居，我们到湖边玩，也碰到很多退休的老教授。我wiki上得到的当地居民平
均收入大概8万左右，hudson当然更有钱一些，好像是11万左右。我觉得两个城市都算
是中产集中的地区了。你去过kent和stow，就知道什么叫做真正的农业区和人员层次比
较复杂的城市了。

其实南边的AURORA还是不错的，北边嘛，就是新闻报道的热门地点，什么枪击啊，抢劫
啊，都在北边。
南边一小块还是CHERRY CREEk的学区，只是学校的分数可能没有ENGLEWOOD的
CHERRYCREEK的高。
南边有一个SOUTHLAND MALL，基本上的商店都有吧，太平洋据说要在AURORA开分店了

另外，想问一下：
1 、 老中扎墩长远来看的好处和弊端 ？ 到美国4年，开始时在学生墩里混，刚开始和
这边居住工作的华人接触，了解的不多，望大家说来听听。
2、 朋友曾说过给小朋友找play mate的时候发现老中真是越多越好.....等这些ABC
长到高中，和白小孩自然分类，多和自己人交往，而且越大越难做朋友，即便小时候能
做朋友sleep over。不知道这个问题大家都怎么看？像Aurora这样白人多的城市学校，
孩子会被排挤bully吗？
3、 如果但从学区角度Auroar 值得选吗？房源又多又新，同样的budget, 居住条件改
善极大，心动啊！可是看大家都没选，心里没底，这一旦买了也不好轻易换啊。
4、 能否在比较一下Twinsburg和 Aurora 这两个城市？ 从城市条件，交通（去华人超
市），学区，地税，老中比例等等来看。
5、看到Solon有中文学校，Twinsburg有接送或活动中心(了解还不清）不知如果住
Aurora，孩子以后兴趣班、学中文会不会比较调脚呢？

在不敢开高速。请问下有没有人最近有空，可以做我一日的司机？大概就是从机场开到
aurora，完事后再送我回机场。

发帖数: 232 | 45 说反了。总体而言，是东边比西边好。具体而言，fox river的东边，比fox river的西
边好。
60506基本是downtown吧。不推荐。Aurora西裔众多，gang什么的不在话下。当然，并
不是说Aurora downtown的治安有多差。相对而言而已。
如果只是想和朋友住得近，附近的选择很多，比如东边Naperville。北边的Batavia也
不错，治安好，有文化，不过不如Naperville热闹。 |

发帖数: 8 | 50 8月份搬家过来，正在研究学区问题。因为在Kent工作，所以北边的学区再好也太远了
。 原本目光集中在Hudson, 可房子多老旧，维修费和Utility都会很高。后来又转看
Twinsburg, 因为娃小，老大刚25个月，心想再过几年不定如何变化，先住新点的房子
敞亮敞亮。 找学区发现Aurora高中都是10分，而且看2013最新排名第10 by US news.
Hudson 第八，Solon 13. 如果学区还不错，怎么都不见大家提起啊？ 这个排名可
靠吗？ 有没有住在Aurora或附近或了解的大侠给点意见啊。 另外，这个区有没有一些
问题，如大家提到Solon垃圾填埋场之类。 谢过了先！ |
