If you want to use appletalk to access your file over the network,
you need to get some software. I heard NT supports appletalk but
I have never tried personally. Linux works with appletalk fine.
Or at least you can work with ftp/http. Mac OS comes with a webserver... |

IF you you have an ethernet capable printer, sure. If you have an appletalk
network then you will need PC Maclan for the PC. I have a NEC 2 90, an HP
870cse, and a 2500 Apple printer connected via an Asante Ehternet-Appletalk
bridge

Selection, if not, you have to set up you Ethernet card(by some
software installer)
if you don't have TCP/IP, you should have NETWORK instead
second,If you do have it and ony use as a local net at home.
not connect to Internet, you can give a random IP , I guess.
Otherwise, set it as DHCP, the subnet 255.255.0.0

If your printer is a so called applenet printer, you have to have a
a network software such as "pc maclan" in your pc side to print to
this printer (no necessary to have IP address for your printer); or you
can connect your pc to the printer through direct connection (LPR, ...);
or through WINNT (which has appletalk protocal).
If your printer have IP address, then you can print to this printer from
both MAc and PC through WINNT server or by intalling some soft |

如今的Cook，还是依赖原来的团队，另外跟中国的关系就能看出，比狗强多了，该装孙
子就装孙子，其实以前Jobs也不敢乱说，只是用不去中国表达心情，自己装大爷，让
Cook去中国装孙子。
Cook当家的果子跟几年前没有什么不一样，新产品一样出。市场这么大，不可能一家都
吃了，都吃了司法部会出来砍头的。Jobs当家的时候不还是让施密特偷了idea，好像还
跟狗狗东家一起散步指点后生呢。
果子固然在Jobs回来以后翻身了，但是，他不在的时候，果子也还是很牛的，很多东西
都是那时候搞的，像激光彩打，appletalk，最早的iPad（这个牛顿可是在MS之前的，
微软还经常假装自己是先驱），iTune，投资ARM，这种眼光还是过人的。果子上一轮是
吃亏在被微软给黑了，windows抄Macintoshi，靠开放的硬件系统带来的低廉成本，把
果子彻底弄残了。
这一次，果子其实已经是一家韩国公司了，这是Jobs自己说的，所以他的成本已经是无
